Sky Hi is not just some funk band. It's an institution. And like all institutions it's had its ups and downs. From humble beginnings as a basement jam group, to the infamous spectacles of the Sky Hi barn parties, to national touring and album release, Sky Hi has grown and expanded, and will continue to do so.

We've began a revival of sorts lately, adding new members Austin Little on trombone and Michael Royer on trumpet, writing new songs, and putting new soul into our efforts. The results are nothing short of impressive as the Sky Hi train starts to gain more speed.

Overall, its about moving on, moving forward. Doing something with your life, time, and skills. Sky Hi is about combining the positive with the funk while doing some serious soul searching. It's not just a party. It's a party where you wake up the next day with a new and improved mindset, even though your legs are a little sore!
