Thanks for coming out on New Year's Eve to rock the party with us!

We want to thank Market St. Tavern, Fearful Symmetry, and the good folks of Chatty town for coming out and making this a great night. Special props to everyone who put in hard work to pull this crazy good time show together!

The Southeast's premier vintage funk and modern soul group, The Sky Hi Band, will be helping you to wrap up 09 with a bang, and kick off the New Year with funky style!

This 9 piece locomotive of soul has a full horn line, a gutbucket rhythm section, and some of the most powerful vocals this side of the hemisphere. And that's the truth.

We've got two releases on the way, a 45 and an LP, on G.E.D. Soul Records. We've got new members, new tunes, and a brand new attitude.

You do not want to miss this New Year's Eve party with The Sky Hi Band!

stage requirements

We are a pretty large band and can regularly have up to 10 band members on stage at a time.  Sometimes we have guest musicians, DJ's, and singers as well.


-Large horn section
-Large keys/organ rig.
-Medium to large stage preferred

*Mic Requirements*
1 vocal mic
4 horn mics
1 guitar mic
2 direct box for bass and keys
basic drum and percussion mics

We can provide our own sound guy and PA if needed, but this will incur additional charges.
